Hello SJHA Families, 

We hope we are finding you all in good spirits as the holiday season begins. 

With such a long break away from the rink, we have spent some time reflecting about our impact and identity as an organization. We concluded that essentially, when you take hockey out of it, we are a strong and connected community of passionate, intelligent, successful, and kind people who all choose to come together because we really love the game we share. In light of the current circumstances, we want to take every effort we can as an association to use our platform to promote our community and grow our connections to one another. 

So, how do we fortify connection during a time where isolation reigns supreme? 

Well, we have decided to create the Seattle Junior Hockey Association Community Services Directory. This resource, housed on our website, will serve as a community bulletin board in which business owners, leaders, or representatives who participate in the SJHA community can promote their businesses and services to all SJHA families who might need them. Plumbers, tutors, healthcare professionals, carpenters, financial managers, contractors, tilers, florists, tech consultants...you name it, SJHA has it. 

Ultimately, we want to create a tool for families to be able to have access to services provided by other SJHA members, to help one another out during such a tough financial time, and to forge new bonds between families that can be strengthened once we return back to the rinks soon. This is a free service. We will not discriminate if you are owner, proprietor, employee, or volunteer of the business you would like to promote.
